The Bengal Cat
The Bengal is currently the worlds most beautiful and majestic breed of cat. Derived from crosses between the Asian Leopard Cat a small wild cat with the pelt of the african leopard and domestic cats, this stunning creature has the amazing pelt of a wild cat with the temperament of an ordinary domestic cat.
Asian Leopard Cat
The first generation of Bengal is bred eg: wild cat to ordinary domestic cat or Bengal and this is known as a foundation generation 1 or an f1 Bengal cat, the second generation f2 and so on. Most people who look for Bengal cats for pets tend to look for generations f4 +.
